Motorola provides software updates for products that are within their 12 month warranty period, and for customers who have enrolled into the Software Maintenance Program.

  Network Updater v3.1 Important Changes
  • Support for Canopy 5.4GHz (Canopy 400) OFDM APs and SMs
  • Ability to support login id for telnet and ftp, instead requiring ‘root’ accounts.
  • New Command Line Interface feature allows scripting firmware upgrades on specific units.
  • Fixes issue where Update Application Address was not correctly set when using the tool in a NAT environment.
  • The installation package format has been changed to .pkg3. Network Updater 3.1 supports only the new package format.
